Codebase Memory

Why use it

A local code index that gives Codex persistent knowledge of files and relationships without repeatedly sending the whole repository.

Best for: A large or long-lived codebase where Codex repeatedly loses architectural context.

Limitations: A tiny project, non-code knowledge, or a repository that cannot be indexed under your security policy.
